CELEBio, a European funded project from BBI-JU, contributes to strengthening bioeconomy-related activities in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Slovak Republic and Slovenia. The aim of the Czech Republic is to generate new economic opportunities and jobs from an increase in the bioeconomy business, through high added value bio-based products and services while securing the operating conditions for the sustainability of nature’s ecosystems.
This session will inform the participants in the current and future activities of the BBI-JU, provide an overview of the findings of the CELEBio projects within the CEE region generally, and Czech Republic specifically. We will touch on the potential future direction of actions for Czech Republic to take steps forward toward a bioeconomy future.
